I served on the Township Committee from 1983 to 1991,
the last year as mayor.
As mayor in 1991, I developed a strategy and created
the team of residents, both of which helped to convince the county to locate
a jail in Morris Township instead of in Mendham Township.
During my tenure we established the first Historic
District, Washington Valley.
As chairman of the Master Plan Committee, I developed
the current committee structure to make it more inclusive and open.
We updated the Township Master Plan on a timely basis.
You can view a copy on the Town website.
I have been a member of the Planning Board since 1992,
and I am currently the Vice Chairman.
I participated on the original Open Space Committee
which established the structure and objectives
of the committee.
